Merenti combines liquid-market strategies with select private investments in founders and emerging managers where our domain experience, network, and patience are useful.
We have no outside investors and our motivation remains intrinsic.
Team
Max founded Merenti after nearly a decade spent building and investing in decentralized finance, including co-founding Native Markets, deployer of Hyperliquid's USDH stablecoin. He takes a sysems-oriented approach to investing, considering how incentives, market structure, and regulation influence product viability and founder fit.
Max is a graduate of Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
Claudia leads private market investments for Merenti. Her prior experience focused on the commercialization of climate technologies, notably having served as a product manager for Carbon Direct and as the Head of Carbon at Atlas Agro. She is keen to help founders navigating from invention to innovation.
Claudia earned her PhD in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management from UC Berkeley with a focus on geospatial analysis and remote sensing.
